Gillingham - Residential development and new Sports Hall
In times of limited funding schools can look to provide for much needed new facilities through the realisation of value in existing land and to channel the funds into essential construction projects.
The school in this project approached us to help realise their urgent requirement for a new sports hall, funded by the sale of part of their surplus land for residential development subject to obtaining planning approval.
We prepared detailed proposals for the site development, including the sports hall, housing for 37 units and new roads, infrastructure and associated development costings. Working with our planning consultants we found a way through the considerable concerns presented by the planning authorities and secured the essential development approval.
