Tonbridge - Head Office Extension

As part of a substantial extension to the UK based Head Office of a major international Investment Company we were commissioned to procure and project manage the first phase of the project with a contract value at around £14.5m.

We were required to liaise with the Client's Architects who were also to take the project forward to the second phase.

Phase one works included the excavation and construction of a subterranean area to a depth of some three storeys, formed of strip piling and reinforced concrete retaining structures, as well as the relocation of primary M&E services.

The excavations were located close to a prestigious residential area and it was necessary to agree a regime that placed significant restrictions on operations including ‘muck away' and had to be carefully monitored.

The contract was delivered on time and on budget and handed to our American colleagues.
