Tonbridge - Retail and Residential Conversion
The Client had acquired an investment property with retail accommodation to the ground floor and ancillary storage within the floors above. They required to achieve a maximisation in the value of their investment.
Our solution was firstly to consolidate the retail accommodation, removing internal stairs and opening up the floor area to increase the lettable space, build in toilets and self contain the accommodation.
For the upper floors we were fortunate in securing planning permission for residential accommodation, providing 4no one bed flat units and we then designed the scheme and managed the construction programme.
The development proved to be an excellent commercial success.
