Gillingham - Upgrade of an industrial building

An industrial property built in the 1970s which had aged quite poorly and needed a comprehensive face lift and modernisation, particularly in a slow market, for disposal.

The main feature of the scheme was the design and procurement of a new system of external rain screen cladding with integral glazing.

The finished building has been well received and the project was deemed a great success and it is expected that the new scheme might be rolled out across a number of other similar units across the industrial estate.
