We have now completed the fit out and refurbishment of a new health care facility in Manchester for Optegra Eye Care they are now well under way with scheduling and conducting operations.

 

 

Buxton - 8 Spring Garden

Douglas Moat Practice have recently been appointed to carry out an aquisition survey on a former bank in Buxton on behalf of retail client aquiring a new lease on the property - advice included a review of future obligations & strip-out.

We have subsequently been appointed to prepare a Schedule of Condition on part of the property for incorporation within the new lease.

 

 

Haywards Heath - 114-116 South Road

A contractor has been appointed and the repairs & refurbishment to the first floor flat have now commenced - Douglas Moat Practice have been appointed as Project Managers following our successful dilapidation negotiations with the previous tenant.
 

 

Gillingham - GBP Phase 21A

Douglas Moat Practice have recently completed a review of anticipated dilapidation liability on behalf of the landlord of this industrial unit, for on-going negotiations with the tenant - Including a Mechanical and Electrical appraisal & reinstatement.
 

 

Gillingham - New Classroom Block Complete

The new Classroom Block at the Robert Napier School in Gillingham has now been completed and handed over to the School. Full occupation of all the teaching facilities and multipurpose space has taken place.

Tunbridge Wells - Land Registry

Douglas Moat Practice have recently been appointed to carry out and report on the Land Registry building in Tunbridge Wells.The contract has now been agreed for the AXA PPP purchase.

We will now advise PPP on the repairs required for their intended occupation and advise a planned maintenance programme.

 

 

The New Building Regulations - A Briefing

In conjunction with Butler & Young, Douglas Moat hosted a briefing last night exploring the changes to Parts F, J and L which are effective from the 1st October 2010.The changes to the Regulations will affect new and existing properties alike and will have significant practical and financial implications within the building industry.

We have recently been appointed to prepare a Schedule of Condition on this property the purpose of the schedule will be used in conjuction with negotiations for and attachment to a new lease.
 

 

Sittingbourne - The Forum
